A new study reports low carb diets are more effective than a higher carb ”healthy” diet for improving blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. It was also effective for improving body composition and had no concerning effects on cardiac risk factors. This is one more study showing low carb diets should be a standard considering for all clinicians treating people with type 2 diabetes.
